IMG_4495Happy Monday dear reader! Today marks my 14th week of pregnancy which is pretty cool. Thus far not much has changed. No bump to report of, just what I’d call a post dinner belly. 🙂 My workouts are typically posted daily on Instagram if you want to see what I’m up to daily! Check out @Roaming_Oat

I am on a mission, and a little experiment if you will, to see if it is possible to get more and more pregnant, while also, getting an even better booty and legs! Who’s with me?! Am I crazy? Perhaps… but it’s worth a shot.

I am currently in a hotel in Virginia Beach with an EXTREMELY limited fitness center, so it is important to get creative. No excuses! For example, for pull-ups, I got under the treadmill screen and pulled my body weight up on the handles! Not ideal, but not nothing.

Monday August 15th

WOD (Workout of the Day): 3 Rounds:
10 Burpees
10 Pull-Ups
25 Air Squats
50 Double Unders
15 Box Jumps (20″)
10 Push-Ups

Then 5×10:
Lat Pull Downs
Back Extensions
Leg Press
Chest Press

Then 3×20:
Princess Lunge + Wide Front Squat
Reverse Lunges
Side Squat Jumps
Pop Squat Jumps

Tuesday, August 16th

SWOD: 6×3 Power Cleans @ 75-95lbs This is a fairly light weight for me.

WOD:
Run 800m
50 Kettlebell Swings (KBS/35lbs) – I should have gone heavier, this was a tad light for me.
50 ABMAT Situps
25 KBS
25 ABMAT Situps

Total Time: 10:21 – I was hoping for sub 10, but again, now is not the time to try to get better at fitness, but rather, maintain as best as personally possible.

Wednesday, August 17th

Couldn’t make it to the Crossfit gym today so I made up a quick hotel WOD:

3 Rounds:
400m Run
15 Burpees

Total Time: 9:15

Then 5×10:
Lat Pull Downs (40lbs)
Back Extensions
Leg Press
Chest Press (40lbs)
Biceps (20lbs)
Chest Flys (40lbs)

Then 3×20: Booty Gains!
Princess Lunge + Wide Front Squat
Reverse Lunges
Side Squat Jumps
Pop Squat Jumps
Step Up Lunges (20”)

Following this, I did a ROMWOD mobility session. I highly recommend them if you don’t already! We all know stretching is equally important as is working out. Check them out.

Overhead Squats (65lbs for me, Nice and light)
Pull-Ups (I switched to Ring Rows as the kipping felt strange on my belly)

REST DAY! The hubster and I got a Norfolk Tides (AAA) baseball game and I ate a half pound hot dog… It was amazing!
