31 Weeks Pregnant

Happy Holidays to you! It has been quite the week! My energy levels have been pretty low. Sleep eludes me at night. During the day I feel like I could nap for hours. Needless to say this is throwing off my To-Do list immensely. I did manage to get some workouts in, however!

Monday, December 19th 2016

Slow start today but I did eventually get down to the gym! I managed to break the chain on my bike so I had to improvise for a warm up.

Warm-Up: 400m Uphill Tire Sled Pull x 3 (25lbs)
I ran up the hill, and walked down it.

To celebrate the beginning of my 31st week of pregnancy I did my favorite workout!

100 Overhead Squats @ 75lbs
I started with 95lbs, but that just seemed too taxing on the belly, so I dropped the weight.

I also broke them in to 10 sets of 10 squats so I could rest as I needed.

Tuesday & Wednesday, December 20th-21st 2016

I had good intentions to workout both days but felt very sick. So I ended up napping and cooking throughout the day. As usual, it is important to listen to my body. If the Squisher needs a day off, then so do I!

Strength Work: 12×2 Deadlifts at 100lbs

Workout: 10 Rounds

12 Kettlebell Swings @ 35lbs
6 Goblet Squats @ 35lbs

Friday, December 23rd 2016

My husband had the day off and drove up to the mountains for a nice long hike. While he did that, I reorganized my kitchen, cooked, and did some writing. Cleaning and cooking allow me to organize my thoughts as well. So it was a productive day, even if I didn’t get to the gym.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! The husband had to work a bit today, hence the blog posts on Christmas. But did manage to do a very quick workout just to get some energy today!
