I want Sugar! 3 Ingredient Cookies

FullSizeRender-1Typically, my husband and I avoid extra sugar as much as possible. I thought, that the only craving I really had throughout my pregnancy was Greek Yogurt with Frozen Blueberries, but looking back I realize that I made and ate A LOT of Apple Crisp. Haha. I remember my husband teasing me that I am getting a sweet tooth, something I typically lack. But I am beginning to realize that I am craving sugar still. Every damn day. So it really is time to clean that up a bit.

I was thinking what I could make to satisfy my sweet tooth today, while not making a quick batch of my favorite Double Chocolate & Sea Salt Cookies, which only take me 10 minutes to prep. Yes, dammit, I have the recipe memorized. And while I wouldn’t suggest eating too much sugar, you HAVE to try those! Super easy, and not the worst cookie out there for you, but certainly shouldn’t be eaten by the volume we have been consuming them.

We are headed back to the United States in a few days, so we have kept our kitchen at the bare minimum trying to finish what food is perishable before we do. I had bananas that were WAY past their prime. So I made these 3 ingredient cookies and they did the trick! Now, if you are currently undergoing a sugar addiction, like most, these may not seem sweet enough to you. Which is a sign of a bigger problem. But if you’re simply looking for that little sugar fix, give these a try!

Oatmeal & Banana Breakfast Cookie

Ingredients

2 Smashed Bananas (Ripe)
1 Cup of Oatmeal
1/4 Cup of Dark Chocolate Chips
Cinnamon or Other Spice

The beauty of these is that you mix it in a bowl, add it to your cookie sheet and place in an oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. But wait! There’s more! It’s up to your taste buds, but I think walnuts, dates, or raisins would be nice. Super simple, arguably healthy and I got a little chocolate.

Blessed Be

-Oat
