I want Sugar! 3 Ingredient Cookies

FullSizeRender-1Typically, my husband and I avoid extra sugar as much as possible. I thought, that the only craving I really had throughout my pregnancy was Greek Yogurt with Frozen Blueberries, but looking back I realize that I made and ate A LOT of Apple Crisp. Haha. I remember my husband teasing me that I am getting a sweet tooth, something I typically lack. But I am beginning to realize that I am craving sugar still. Every damn day. So it really is time to clean that up a bit.

Egg Muffins

fullsizerender-2One of the easiest things you can make for breakfast during your meal prep days, are Egg Muffins! Quick and portable these babies are delicious and good for when you’re in a pinch, but don’t want to sacrifice nutrition! They can also be used for individual snacks! Super simple and one of my go-to’s when I don’t feel like making a large breakfast.

The hubster had these after rugby practice today and LOVED them. So I thought I’d share this version. There are so many different recipes out there with different veggies you can throw in to change up your recipe! This is our favorite so far. But it is nice to change it up every once in a while. If you haven’t made these yet, you’re missing out! —>

Gingerbread Cookies

img_0791I love making and eating gingerbread cookies! You have no idea. So it is very important for me to make sure I have people to give them away to when I make a batch! Yesterday was Christmas Eve and knowing that my husband, among many other military badasses would be giving up their Christmas Day to support our country, I couldn’t let that happen without a little holiday cheer. And, okay, it also meant that I got a few cookies. 🙂 I love to indulge a little, sometimes a lot around the holidays and I don’t feel the least bit guilty. I didn’t come up with this recipe. In fact I stole it from one of my favorite new blogs that I discovered on Instagram. —>

Blueberry Muffins & an Italian Treat

fullsizeoutput_2cb8
I woke early this morning to receive a furniture delivery for my neighbors, who are back in the states for the holidays. Apparently I didn’t get up early enough, because the one time in the world that an Italian is not only on time, but early, happened today! When we lived in Spain deliveries, meals, guests or anything that you wanted on some sort of schedule would be scheduled with a time, but not a day. So be home at 10am every day until it is convenient for them to deliver/appear! This too happens in Italy, although typically you get the day you’re looking for, but things run at a slower pace. I have to remember that a break for espresso, three to ten times per day, is typical for Italians. I am serious.  3-10 espresso a day. However these guys must have stopped for their fix early because I didn’t even get my hair brushed and the shutters open before our buzzer rang at 745am! Oh well, up and at ’em. —>
