I had been meaning to update this post for some time! But I needed to recreate it first for some better photos and information! I finally made the time to make my Roasted Strawberry Ice-Cream with a hint of Rosemary! The best part about it? No Ice Cream maker needed. It is Dairy and Artificial Sugar Free!
I have trouble not having a completely scheduled day. Let me rephrase that, I have a day laid out in my head. I know exactly what I want to accomplish. But my 6 month old son might have other plans. So I am slowly learning to relax into this new life… I did manage to finally get back to this dessert instead of making a sugar ladder Apple Crisp haha. Give this a shot! It is so delicious!
Typically, my husband and I avoid extra sugar as much as possible. I thought, that the only craving I really had throughout my pregnancy was Greek Yogurt with Frozen Blueberries, but looking back I realize that I made and ate A LOT of Apple Crisp. Haha. I remember my husband teasing me that I am getting a sweet tooth, something I typically lack. But I am beginning to realize that I am craving sugar still. Every damn day. So it really is time to clean that up a bit. —>
I love making and eating gingerbread cookies! You have no idea. So it is very important for me to make sure I have people to give them away to when I make a batch! Yesterday was Christmas Eve and knowing that my husband, among many other military badasses would be giving up their Christmas Day to support our country, I couldn’t let that happen without a little holiday cheer. And, okay, it also meant that I got a few cookies. 🙂 I love to indulge a little, sometimes a lot around the holidays and I don’t feel the least bit guilty. I didn’t come up with this recipe. In fact I stole it from one of my favorite new blogs that I discovered on Instagram. —>
Now that Finals are over and the Holiday’s are here I am able to find the time to get back to posting! And there is plenty to share! I got together with my good friend Ashley to Don an apron and make Chocolate Cookies filled with Peppermint Frosting and Salted Apple Cider Caramels for our coworkers while enjoying a bit of champagne. It was a blast to say the least.
I started prepping food for our holiday party! I had so much to do and wasn’t sure I could get it all done. I barely did, but thanks to Andrew we managed to get through it all. While prepping (more…)
